Join us on an enchanted May morning to experience our signature WILD Atlantic Wellness workshop:
The Veil of the 9th Wave.
18th May, 2019: 10am - 1pm
BOAT TRIP | Mindfulness Workshop with dōTERRA Essential Oils | Foraged Seasonal Herbal Tea Refreshments
Followed by lunch at the Award Winning Galway Bay Seafoods: Dockside Deli
For centuries the ocean has also been a place associated with profound healing & community well-being.
Whether it is the negative ions in the air, potassium in the water, or simply the sense of freedom one gathers from being at sea, it is the idea that oceans hold the key for transformation & renewal that still grips our modern-day imagination!
45 Min Mindful Boat Trip | 2 Hr Workshop | dōTERRA Essential Oils | Creative Visualisations Inspired by the Mystical Island of Hy-Brasil.
This adventure offers an opportunity to ‘get in touch’ with the healing energy of our WILD Atlantic Ocean. You will start this unique experience on a yacht with Skipper Ciaran Oliver & AKYOGA.
From the mouth of the River Corrib, you will sail gently toward Galway Bay against the backdrop of the rolling hills of Clare and the beguiling limestone landscape of the Burren.
You will take in the fabulous seascapes that have inspired generations of poets, artists & musicians: the Spanish Arch, the Long Walk, The Claddagh, Nimmos Pier, & Mutton Island LightHouse & Keeper’s Cottage, with it’s colony of seals (and occasional visit from dolphins) & vast array of internationally renowned birdlife.
Once you disembark you will enjoy a two-hour mindfulness workshop, during which you will learn how dōTERRA essential oils & mindfulness work in synergy to reduce stress, facilitate relaxation & support the body’s natural ability to restore balance and well-being.
This experience is also about the imagination & senses.
The whispering waves of Galway Bay’s ancient history is integrated into a series of mindfulness meditations, as Anna takes you on a creative journey through a series of visualisations, inspired by the story of an ancient island off the coast of Galway, known as Hy-Brasil.
This poetic sojourn through Irish mythology will provide you with an opportunity to remove the veil that disconnects you from your true potential: The Veil of the 9th Wave.
This is a journey of hope & inspiration - an opportunity to explore how to elevate both your health & well-being, through a series of ocean-inspired mindfulness practices for everyday life.
During the 2-hour workshop you will:
Learn how to meditate & integrate mindfulness into daily life.
Discover the health benefits of WILD Atlantic living.
Experience the power of dōTERRA Yoga Collection (with scents of cedarwood, frankincense, sandalwood, lavender, marjoram & more).
Documented on Galway maps from 1327 up until the 1860s, you will learn about the real-mythical Island of Hy-Brasil, said to hold magical powers of healing & transformation. It is written that this island only reveals itself every 7 years and it’s next sighting is due in 2020.
Move beyond the veil of the 9th Wave and discover your potential to optimize your health and refocus your energy on the things that really matter in life.

Meet Our Skipper, Ciaran Oliver:
“Our passion for the seas around the West Coast of Ireland stems from generations of fishing and seafaring within our family background. To say that the sea is in our blood is probably the best way to describe our love of the Atlantic Ocean that rolls into Galway Bay. Our family history dates back over one hundred years to an ancient fishing village known as the Claddagh.”
Situated opposite the famous Spanish Arch, and nestled on Galway Bay’s stunning shoreline, this iconic 7th Century heritage site is the home of the world famous Claddagh Ring. It once consisted of 500 dwellings & hundreds of fishing families located on the shoreline of Galway City. Sadly, in the 1930s, these houses were demolished, but memories of this resilient community have been passed on to generations living in the area.
